looks great man, your welds are very clean. What color are you powdercoating the a arms, frame, and swinger? What problems where the other forums giving you??

Same here. The welds are a lot nicer looking than some I've seen on R frames. You should charge for that.

thanks for the comments guys.
i'm still in the works on this baby.
but luckely i have some restoring experience since ive completely restored a quadzilla before i got this bike

i'm working at a company that builds factory's for the production of cheese, milk and yoghurt out of stainless steel.

my buddy over there welded my gussets with a tig welder thats why the welds are so nice.

the frame is gonna be gloss black and so will be the rear hubs.

the a-arms, swinger, coils for the shocks and some other misc parts will be silver.

about that other forum.
we had a lot of newbe's over there who thought they knew more about all the quad stuff then the guys that have been in the busines for years.

it got to such a point that they started bashing around at the more experienced members and also at me so i decided to quit that forum.

Did you have any trouble restoring your 500? I heard parts are getting scarce. I'd like to do one too but I'm scared about not finding what I need.

flying dutchman

you can still get a lot of stuff for the LT500
ebay contains the biggest lot of parts and suzuki also still has oem parts.

you can also check www.ronnies.com wich is a website that can get you almost every oem part for every quad
