How do you adjust a 400ex carb?

what do you want it to do? there are atleast 4 basic changes that can be made to one. do a search under "Jetting"

I need your current jetting number, pipe, air filter, running lid or no lid,? Is it bored, stroked, camed.

stock jetting, not sure on air filter, stock pipe, and nor bored, stroked, or camed.
with lid.

All I really need is a stock guide to teach me how to adjust stuff. like where they are located and such, pictures would be a plus.

Try the "How To" section, you will get your answer there.

It seems like your on the rich side so here's what I want you to do, in the front of the carb ahead of the motor there is a screw that you turn, turn the screw in that will make it alittle on the lean side, not to much though maybe a 1/4 turn. If you need more help just ask me.
