A while back I posted a Thread wondering if a 450r would fit sideways in a 6x12' trailer. I decided to just try it...

I had to stand it strait up in order to get it sideways

Now hopefully I can get two more in the trailer :eek2:

If i would have seen that thread a while back when you asked that question i could have told you they fit, that's what we use when we go ride we have one that fits 3 wheelers...

In an open trailer it's easy. It's damn near impossible to do it in an enclosed. For one, most 6x12 would be to short to stand a quad up. Secondly, getting your quad out of an open like yours, you can stand on the rail to lift it up. In an enclosed, you can't get any leverage to stand it up because you're butted up against a wall.

im not sure the size of our trailer.. but it has a side gate, so we can just ride them up and slide them over. we can fit 3 fill size quads sideways.. somehow, we fit 4(not sideways) .. dont ask how.. lol

Be careful when you haul your quad like that for a long distance. I did that to my 400EX and the rear plastic that was toward the front of the trailer lifted up from the air pressure. When I got to my destination 5 hours later, it was permanetely higher than the other side...lol. about 2 inches higher... Just a little precaution...:D
