Simple green is the best stuff to use for cleaning your bike... Just pour it out of the jug into a spray bottle.. Then you spray it all over every thing and hose it off. If I was you I wouldn't put it on your plastic because sometimes it will stain it.. :D

i use to swear by simple green.it works good.and your
quad will look great.
then i found some stuff called QUAD WASH.
i get a gallon jug for under 14 bucks.and this stuff works even better.than the green.i get the quad wash from http://www.fuchsmotorsports.com/

then ofcourse after every wash.i give the whole quad
except brakes. a spray with WD-40. if the wd gets on the seat or grips. just use a rag. and a lil glass cleaner.takes away the slickness.

also try spraying your bike down with something that will keep the mud an dirt from stickin before u ride,i use pam cooking non-stick spray it works wonders.coat under the plastics and under the quad heavily.

Baby oil works great too. Last weekend I dabbed a rag in used motor oil and rub it on the underside of my fenders and nothing stuck.

That was in QUAD Mag.

Any lubricant works. A lubricant fills in the pores so the mud wont stick. Heck you could get a can of SPAM and rub down the fenders if you really wanted too.. LOL.

Yet another use for SPAM.. haha.

Simple Green is awesome stuff. It's non-toxic to, so you can basically drink it and be fine, puking, but otherwise fine, lol. It's all we could use in Basic training cuz they didn't trust some of us not to drink the bleach to try to get out of training.

You could try that new Teflon cooking spray. It's supposed to stick to your metal pans for a long time so I'd imagine that it would work on your quad.

I just used carb and choke cleaner to get the stains and stuff out. That stuff if powerful and at $1.88 a can at Advance auto parts, you can buy a couple.
