I wonder if something like this has ever happend before? Im guessing even though the chute didnt deploy is still slowed him down quite a bit?

That's a great video. I especially like the 2nd portion of the cameramans reaction. Never panicked, did everything correctly.

Chute was tangled, but it was definatly slowing him down a lot. The bush helped him out a lot.

Yea, that's happened several times. I remember watching a video oh probably 15 years ago.. where a guy was skydiving.. both chutes failed and he bounced twice, got up and walked off.. lol. I'm sure he collapsed shortly after though, if nothing other than shock.

Thats the first time in my life i have ever gotten a little nauseous from a video or photo etc. Im not easily skeved out from anything but when i saw his view falling to the ground, saying goodbye. I put myself in that situation to be falling and waiting to hit the ground. That must be one of the worst feelings in the world. Just imagine it. Helpless, waiting for the little dots on the ground to turn into trees. insane, almost moving. I couldnt imagine myself being so calm and saying "goodbyeee".
