very nice, look into some rubber strips to mount inside the rear wheel wells between the bed and the frame so its not so obvious that it is a body lift, it is one of the cleanest body lifts I've ever seen!

you definitally need some nice offset wheels and a bit bigger tire.

Body lifts rule! What size is that? My 2 inch.

One_Bad_400
02-15-2007, 07:17 PM
its a 3 inch... lol... they say that the 2004+ f-150 are the hardest trucks to put a lift on... it took us ~15 hours to install mine... i talk to a guy at school with a truck like yours and he said it took him around 4 hours

what kind of goggles are those? nice lift by the way

ECATV Raptor
02-15-2007, 07:27 PM
yeah it took around 4 hrs to instal it. I had a local metal shop cut out the spacers so it was like 10 bucks. i really want to put a real lift on it but im afraid that to many parts would wear on it.

ya... and plus a body lift is 1/26th the price and you still get what you want... i dont want performance.. i just want looks.. and it gave me all the looks i want...

there Scott zip off's things.. lol... i just got them at my local honda shop

Looks good. I'm not a fan of the body lift, but looks alright on your truck. My Cherokee has a 3" suspension lift took me about 4 hours to put on, was easy just time consuming. Now It rides like a 1 ton truck but looks and performs very well

Why the hell not? I had a v8 s-10 for years, passed emissions and everything

especially if you get an '87 or older because you can tag it historic and wont need to get an inspection

I can't stand body lifts either, especially when people don't raise the bumpers to match the body. Your truck looks good and I especially like the prerunner bar on the front. Just not a fan of the body lifts.

I can't believe it took you 15 hours.

It only took me 7 hours for this 6" suspension lift:

I like a body lift thats a cheap man's 3" lift. I put a 3" body and an 8" suspension on a 83 dodge Ram 1 ton short bed. in 8 hours but I was'nt the only one working on it eaither. It was a road truck till I converted it over to a mud bog truck here's a pic. By the way your truck looks good.
