400ex shocks on a 250r?

hey will 400ex shocks fit on 89 250r with lonestar 2+ a arms?

yeah, but unless the 400ex shocks were done for +2 arms, they will be very soft.

but are these the exact same shocks or do you need to do some fabrication to make them fit?

nearly the same, 450r ones will fit also, but they are alittle taller and the valving is off.

they will bolt right up, but i wouldnt run stock 400ex shocks on a +2 front end, i dont think it would handle to well. I once ran oem 400ex shocks on my stock R front end, it raised the front end up a little and made it stiffer, but I liked the feel. Goodluck.

It'll work, they're nice and plush too. I wouldn't recommend it for MX though. I have 400ex shocks on my Arens +2's.
