im surprised to see the dry weight at 364 on it with the aluminum frame, also after checking the 4 main maufacturers dry weights it is the 2 heaviest.

Aluminum frames mean that they can use more material to make the frame stronger and still be the same weight as the other's steel frames.

Why do people worry so much about weight. With the amount of varience in rideres weight it really shouldnt matter especialy with such small differences between oem's.

Im pretty sure 450r's are used in both ATVA Mx and GNCC. Why cant a big be good for both?

A sport quad ahead of its time.

Oh yeah, with their first in class, innovative Aluminum Frame, and Electronic Fuel Injection......who would have thought a quad would EVER have anything like that:rolleyes:

Reverse & E-Start. So, you get reverse, hydraulic clutch, and reinforced rims for 1 pound.

I bet if you put the tires on standard rims, you'd be lighter. ;)

The 450ER is 363lbs dry and has no reverse.
06 450ER (http://powersports.honda.com/atvs/sport/specs_head.asp?ModelName=TRX450R+%28Elec+Start%29&ModelYear=2006&ModelId=TRX450ER6&ModelStyle=TRX450ER6&SERIES=1000002&SERIESNAME=TRX450R+%28Elec+Start%29&MODEL=TRX450ER6&YEAR=2006&IS_BTO=0&IS_HWOPT=0)

Their 07 specs are backwards on the Honda Site. Kick @ 363 E-Start @ 350. Shoule be Kick @350 & E-Start @ 363
