Does anyone know any dealers that have left over 2005 450R's? I have one on order through Pro-cycle in Missouri, but its been 2 months and they keep giving me the run around and I now have 4000$ in aftermarket parts for a 2005 450R and need one soon before the season starts. Must be new!

Thanks

Sindt Motors in Dubuque, IA I think has some unless Chad and Matt Weinen bought them all. You would have to give them a call..... (563)582-8146 ask for Ryan...

i was looking for an 05 left over, there was none close to me but one dealer said they can order me one and i can have it shipped to me or i can pick it up, but the price was $6,000 plus tax, for an 05... so i said screw that. maybe you can find another dealer to order you one

Cheaper...and as I stated about I have 4000$ in parts sitting here for a '05 I just bought and Procycle is being little b's and told me that had one and held 500$ down on it and its been 2 months and they still dont have it. Had my attourney call and still they shrugged me off. Procycle was selling them for 4500.

Called Ryan and he said he might be able to get one. Does anyone have the number to the West Virginia dealer?

my friend loves 04/05 trx450r's, but doesn't like the 06/07's. They have a different motor, swingarm, frame geometery, spindles/hubs. The 06/07 have a narrower frame and longer a-arms, different length swingarms. Its kinda like the 86/87 and 88/89 250r's, two different bikes, some love 86/87 frames and others love the 88/89 frames. 04/05 motors are a longer stroke smaller bore motor, 06/07 are shorter stroke bigger bore motor. The 06/07 makes more bottom end, 04/05 more top end. I personally think that the 04/05 makes too much bottom end as it is, honda making it more for 06, doesn't make sense. Woods rider compared to mx rider. I am told mx riders like the 04/05 better. About half the pro's for this year are riding 05's.

As far as my choice go I wasnt looking at it that way...If I hadnt bought all these freaking parts I would be buying an '06 and saving myself the hassle of trying to find one. Im definatly not happy with Procyle right now!
