Hey I was wondering on how runs it and if you could, please vote what you do. It seems like NO one with a race bike does. I guess it can cause excess mud build up and acually hurt the chain. I think I may take it off, manly because I only ride with my boots on so my pants cant possibly get caught in it.

if you take it off make sure to at least replace it with a billet one

I took mine off and replaced it with the new Holz Racing case saver!!!Seems like a better idea than aluminum.Looks like it would take some of the impact and stop the chain from binding up if it were to break!!!

I took mine off so that it's faster and easier to change sprockets.

I just realized that is why people take them off.LOL. You cant put it back on with a aftermarket case saver... That explains everything. I will leave it on until I make another parts order and I will get one thrown in.

Thanks for the help.

id leave it on untill you get the new one... id never run a bike or a quad without a case saver. ill take chances with the possibility of broken bones but im not taking chances with the possibility of a broken case.

Hes not talking about taking the case saver off! Hes asking about the plastic cover, there is a metal case saver piece underneath that.

What did it run you? It looks pretty trick. Also does it come in any other colors than white?
