Unless you plan on doing nothing but going in a strait line I wouldn't mess with the motor yet. What is the point of all that power if you can't stop or turn?

whats the point in having all that power if you cant keep it on the ground. suspension first! then after you are using the z's motor to its limits you can upgrade. im guessing you ride mx if your going to get an axle and a-arms so once youve gotten the feel for mx with the new suspension you can upgrade the motor. i did my suspension first and am glad i have something that can handle mx better than +2 a-arms with stock shocks haha.

these guys are right, i raced my first year last seasion with a pretty well done race motor but no suspension components. depending on what you are looking to do they +2 arms and axle are the way to go.

Even on trails, you'll benefit from the extra width. I'd get an adjustable, affordable axle such as a G force, and +2 arms. That way, if at +4 you're too wide for trails and what not, adjust the axle to +2, and get 4+1 offset wheels to bring it just over 47". I've found working on the handling first is better than power, doing it backwards gets me hurt, ha.

Edit: 4+1 wheels for the front...

not completley sure but from what i gather if you have extended arms then the i guess leverage is greater on it causing you to bottom out easier unless theyre valved to be stiffer, or i could have this all backwards but i basically think thats it, shoot me if im wrong;.

i would get the aarms and suspension first and then tear into your motor.
