Found one for only 800 bucks and it's a 01 Model. Only thing wrong with it are the Handlebars are slightly bent. But that's a easy fix...lol I'll probably fix that and then sell it for 1500...lol:devil:

I wouldn't pay more than $1000 for an 01 two stroke anyways. They dont hold their resale value that well... $800 with bent bars is a fair price, its certainly not a steal IMO.

what is wrong with this market...a 01 125 should be worth 1500 all day long, as long as its in decent condition

No one wants two-strokes anymore. Especially not 125cc two-strokes. I personally would love to take one off someone's hands for $800. But, I just don't have a spare $800. :(

My buddy bought an 02 cr125 during the summer fully decked out with suspension, excel wheels, 3 sets of plastics all with their own graphcis, two pipes and so on for $1250

Yeah it's a buddy of mine that's wanting to sell it. He got married and had a kid so he don't have time for it anymore. I finally have a good job so i can afford a little 125dirtbike for 800 bucks. Hell i'll just probably ride it around my neighborhood for ****s and giggles. Just another little toy..lol It's in good shape though.

Thats cool, I just wouldn't pay any more than that for it...it depends too, especially if you know the guy, you probably know exactly how it was taken care of and how often it was maintained. That knowledge alone is invaluable sometimes.

Definitly agree with that one, i wouldn't buy it if someone else had it ofcourse i would rather ride ATVs but hell for the price and to help a friend out i'll get it for a little toy. He don't even ride it that much so i know it's in good condition.

Take the motor out and put it in one of those mini go-cart frames.

i just dont get it....a 125 2 stroke is a great bike...all my buddys used to have them...they make great power and a fairly fast, easy to up grade, etc....its sad when the market is so bad that good bikes like that dont hold value
