can anybody help me

i have a 2000 400ex, i have started to pick up a ticking sound in the motor, and i just recently went to change the oil in it and noticed that there is gas mixed in with the oil, i am pretty sure that the ticking sound is the timing chain, but i am unsure about the gas in the oil, can anybody please help.

You may need a valve adjustment. Which if you do, there's nothing wrong internally, but if it's not you'll need to rebuild your engine.
