hey im thinking about boring out my engine it is stock right now and i was wondering if this kit on ebay would be all the hardware i need?

i know ill have to get the cylinder bored and honed at a machine shop

the kit includs this

11:1 426cc Wiseco piston for Honda 400EX.Includes piston, rings, circlip and wrist pin. This kit also comes with Namura 440 89mm top end gasket kit( so you don't have to trim or modify a 400 t.e.gasket kit) and a stage 2 HOTCAMS cam.More top-end power than stage 1 with slight mid-range gain. Uses stock valve springs and rockers

I couldn't find the kit, says it's not listed.

I wouldn't go that far but would go either one MM larger (86mm; 406cc) or two MM larger (87mm; 416cc). Go with about a 11:1 comp piston (I went JE), port and polish the head and she'll feel like a new machine.

I did a 426 (larger sleeve), 10.8:1 JE piston with moly coating, ported and polished the head and had a valve job done and she's much faster and I'm still using pump gas. I did all this for about $700 (my labor) and Colby is top notch to work with.

THE only thing i find wiyh the 426 kit . is that it will get hot easily. you can't really idle to long I went with the 416 kit with 10:1 comp. went andreplaced every thing. in top of motor stage 2 hot cam.. with right gearing and set up. it runs well it keeps right up with the big boys. no kid'n plus price is about the same for both kits . plus you'l be safer with the 416 kit. with 10:1 piston because you can still run reg gas or you can mixe it. i run 1/2 gallon race fuel to 5 gallons gas . find that it works well i haven't had any problems. quad is very fast . plus i run KN power lid and 175 to 180 main jet. bigger slow jet. miner adj.. .the wall thickness is thin when you go with the 426 kit. that's it for borring out next step is sleeving it.
