sorry for being such a noob but wtf exactly is gooning?
is it when you ride around on a dirt bike and act like a total dork & reving the hell out of the bike for no real reason?

The origin of "gooning" came from people that looked like it was there first time riding something motorized on a track. For example doing huge boner airs, casing doubles, basically not knowing how to ride. Now a lot of people that can actually ride do it as a joke.

Gooning is a cool word but me and my friends like the term "Scally Wags" better...hahahaha There's countless numbers of videos on youtube of people doin that chit.

Goon - (n) The kid next door that rides his 80 and revvs the hell out of it and does not shift in time. He then repeatedly punches the throttle as he putts around and does not keep a steady hand on the throttle. I would be scared to see him jump. He is doing it now as I type. I am being driven up the wall.
