As of 10am tomorrow morning , I will be on my way to Varadero Cuba along with my girlfriend and 8 other people . I can't wait to get out of this stupid cold weather .... I'm fed up with it ... so I'll be laying on the beach enjoying the sun for a week ( gone till the 21st) .

Anyways , if Castro decides to kick the bucket while I'm down there , and you guys in the US decide to invade Cuba or something , please be kind and remind someone that I'm staying at Playa Caleta Resort down there . :devil: :blah:

Talk to you all in a week ... I'll be sure to have a few Mohitos and a few shots of Rum for you guys and gals while I'm down there !!!!!:cool:

We'll be going from about -35* to about +80* .... it's going to be a huge shock when we step off the plane . This is going to be my first time flying in a commercial airplane , so I'm kind ofanxious and nervous .

Well I made it back ... Castro didn't kick the bucket while we were down there , but I did return with a nasty chest cold .

Other than that , we had 5 days of very crappy weather so it kind of put a damper on our vacation . A girl we were travelling with lost her luguage , she finally was able to get it back lastnight when we landed back here in Canada .... 8 days of having only 1 outfit ... thank god she was the same size as 2 girls we were with . The beach was nice , the drinks were strong , the food was alright and when we did have some nice sun , we got a tan .

We're already planning our trip for next year . Next year around this time , we'll be in the Dominican Republic laying on the beaches of Punta Cana . We got the travelling bug !!!!!!!:devil:

I'll post some pictures when I get them off the camera and onto the computer .

I'm glad Cuban cigars can be purchased in many places over here! Have fun in Cuba! I had a chance to go there a while back but it wasn't at a resort:D
