Trucks gotta 400, Its gotta 4 barrell and a racing cam. I'm not sure about that tranny

if its an auto it will be a C6 if a manual with granny low then probably an SM465

i have a blue and silver 79 f150 ranger 4x4 witha 300six and 4 speed... good truck till i hatched the motor (driver fault... let a problem go for a couple of days... one day to many obviously)

Ah mainly peaple around were i live drive fords. And they mosley have honda's. BUT Sence i bought the YFZ there has been some YFZ's brought into town. But if i didnt have a ford i would have a dodge.

Sence this pic my truck has gotta set of Duals with short glass pack. Man this truck runs to. Next thing on the list for it is im gonna paint it solid black.

Underepowered... you remeber Dalton dont you? he's got the 450R. He put a HRC kit in it and put a pipe and jetted it and only outrun my YFZ by two lengths. And my YFZ just had the baffle out. I aint raced him sence then because hes fourwheeler is ALWAYS tore up. I need to line up with him sence i got the pipe now and see whos got who.

yupp i remember dalton.

well i added a 41mm FCR carb, had the head ported and polished adn tweaked some other stuff since last time you saw mine. it runs quite a bit better than it did before, but i would say in a drag you still would win, but only one way to find out. did you ever do the cam mod to yours? it helps out alot.

Sweet, i seen the mountains in the backgound see we don't have anything like that where i live. Beaumont sucks sometimes.

I aint got around to gettin the cam mod put into it YET. But when i get around to it im goin to. Id say that your EX does run better then. When you all come back down here tell me and we will go riden. Its been a while sence we have been.

Well thanks for the compliments everyone. Like i said next thing on the list for it is a solid black paint job. And im gonna buy me a 1000wat amp and a 500. And i got two 12's allready so rite here soon ill be set.

well next time i know i will be down there is easter weekend, but i would like to make it down there sooner. it has been since last time i was down there, labor day, that i have ridden my quad.

bigun55 nice quad and truck man. i have a 74 f-250 highboy myself and there awsome trucks. i'm in the process of restoring it now and putting an additonal 4 inch lift on top of the factory 4. and i have the 400 in in it too.

My dad has got a 79 also. the body is in about the same shape that mine is in but it needs a little bit of paint, His is a 4X4 and he has a 6 inch lift on it and 39.5 inch tire on it. Its a NICE truck.
