I just installed a new tusk clutch on my quad, i have a few questions.
I tighten the clutch springs all the way so that they are tight is that right? Are you suppose to soak a new clutch in oil for like 24 hours before you install it? When i pulled in my clutch lever it was stiffer then normal is that right? When i put my quad into gear and pull the clutch in and i move it, it has a little bit of tension on the quad is that right or should i adjust it more so there is no tension.

On the spring bolts, yeah, they will bottom out and just snug them up from there. Doesn't take much

You don't have to soak them for 24 hours, but 1/2 hour to an hour helps.

Depending on if the springs where new, they could be stiffer then the stock ones, aftermarket clutch kits tend to be that way, you They are less likely to slip, and will last longer.

I'm not quite sure i understand that last part about the tension on the quad.
