Get a 4x4 about 2-3ft long and stick one end as close as you can to the bead and lay the other end on the ground. Then get your truck and drive up on the 4x4 making sure your not gonna hit the rim and have somebody stand on the opposite side of the tire to keep it down. If it still isn't wanting to come off try hitting it with a sledge while you have the truck up on the board. Oh yea make sure the valve stems are out. lol And you may have to turn the tire a time or two to get it totally broken down.

Its easier for the first side to pop off if there is a little air in it, so leave the stem in.

I'll have to try that next time. See if it comes off faster.

just drive next to the rim with your truck, i pour a little soapy water on the bead to help it slip off too.

why not take it to an auto shop?, most of them have hydrolic bead breakers. I haven't had problem with the rims I did with a manual bead breakers either. I heard of the 2 x 4 and truck method, I would be too afraid to really mess up my rim doing that.

I have had no luck with that method. The 4x4 and truck method is hands down the best homemade solution.

I orderd an atv tire bead breaker from jcwhitney a long time ago. best 60 bucks i ever spent. Never tried using a piece of wood and a vehicle. Best thing about hipers is there is no bead to pop off.
