Enough with the emails already!

Man, this is really starting to get irritating. Anytime somebody replies to a thread I have subscribed to I get an email from ATVriders about it. I have all my email settings switched to off but I still get them; it's like the user cp email options don't even work. If you don't look at your inbox for a few hours, look out!...you're gonna be deleting a sea of ATVriders emails for a while. I don't need these notifications, that's what my user cp is for.

Anybody else have this problem or know how can I fix it? My friend has the same problem on this site so I figured i'm not the only one.

I always just make sure i uncheck the email notification box when i reply to a thread. But im sure you know that. Not sure what the problem would be. :confused:

i used to like that whole email thing back whenI used to post like 3 post a week. Now its like 5 a day....lol. Now it would just piss be off soo much.

Thanks but mine is always unchecked guess because I have it that way in the user cp. But still doesn't stop the actual emails lol :mad:

I like the email's if im acually contributing to the topic, like if i asked a question or im discussing something, but something like this i dont like, the user cp controls have worked for me though, haha

Use 'Email Notification' by default?
Using this option emails you whenever someone replies to a thread that you have participated in.

user cp then options. wont that fix it?

Does jack squat for me, i've tried multiple times in the past. I have it checked to "no" and I still get them :ermm:

I've never had any settings to notify me. I've had it checked to "no" since I joined so I don't think that's it.

I'll have to try the bogus email address, thanks for the idea! :D

that would be my suggestion as well

i believe it has to do with the site being tampered with awhile back. the new site and layout, and new server is being worked on....same ol same ol...time and money:p
