Is regular clear coat the same as pj1 clear coat? I need some epoxy clear, to clear coat my freshly painted frame. Should I just get some at the local hardware store?

Ok, I went to home depot and got some rust-oleum multi-purpose enamel clear coat. Will this hold up or should I get something else?
Thanks

Yes there is such a thing. I ordered it a few days ago, cause I did not want to take any chances. It is however rare, I couldn't find it anywhere around town. PJ1 is the only maker of it that I found.

Epoxy i thought uses a catalyst. I do auto restoration and use epoxy primer on bare metal and its always a 2 part deal.

I have epoxy primer as well. It just comes in the can. No mixing or anything? Seems to be pretty strong..............we'll see how it holds up on the bike.
