Im assuming they are left over 05's or are they used? expect rod bearing and or crank bearing failures.... if they are brand new it could happen in as little as 3 hours...

other than that they've been great:rolleyes:

bent tie rods are also pretty common so grab a few extra of those, they're only like $7 or something. Keep up with usualy maintenance like changing oil, lubing chain, and adjust the valves every so often. What kind of riding are you going to be doing? stockers can do around 75 I think.... not that it's important. Congrats on the new purchase!:macho

Nope, nothing out of the ordinary

also be sure to not touch the gas at all while kicking your bikes over, or you will end up with a nice hole in the case

I have had ZERO problems with my E-start. Dont hold it for 5 minutes at a time and it'll be fine. Some of the 04-05's had crank issues but not all of them. Again never had a problem with mine.........dont trade them just because of that. There are way more people who dont have problems with them, than the few that do. The problem is just a big one so lots of noise is made out of it. Just my opionions, enjoy them in that Florida weather! Hope they are GATOR PROOF!!

I've only seen a handful of e-starts that still work...

also I dont think it is some of the 04/05's

Me and my buddies have 5 450Rs all 04/05s

4 out of 5 have had major crank bearing failures so far, and some of them have happened more than once. The fifth is a ticking time bomb as far as Im concerned because its the one with the least use...:o

I would have got an 06/07 kicker if it was me, but you will be happy with your purchase. I know what Im saying makes them sound horrible, but I would still buy a Honda over anything in a heartbeat. You'll be happy with your purchase!
