Compression Test?

Can i do a compression test on my yfz with a gauge that you use for a 2 stroke?


also if you can what should the compression be above to run race gas? I dont knw what compression piston is in it and i dont want to pull the top end off.

you could prablly use the 2-stroke one one the 4-stroke. 13:1-12:1 some were in that area i think

ok but my gauge reads PSI not ratios so what PSI would 13-1 be?

you can but you wont get the right reading. you need to do a leak down test to do it right. the yfz has a auto decompression on the cam so that it why the 2stroke way really does not work.
