crf piston in 450r?

I read that 04 and up crf pistons will work in 450r's. and they have 12:1 compression too. is this true?

crf pistons will fit the 06-07 trx but not the 04-05, the bore and stroke is the same on the 06-07 trx as the 02-07 crf.
