Anyone know what oil is used in stock honda shocks (450R). I have a set of rebuilds that my buddy is going to change fluids in for me, but he just needs to know what oil is used. Thanks.

125 viscosity or 5 wt. shock oil. The temp. rating should be around 300-400. I recommend SPECTRO Very Light shock oil, it is 124 viscosity with a VI 400. This oil will be alot more stable and will last longer.

At work we use Bel-Ray 3 weight suspension fluid for the fronts.
