he guys i recently aquired a 2004 arctic cat 400 (lt-400) and i noticed that all the parts ive got circled need replacement, anyone know where i can pick up some of these bolts and not pay 80 bux from factory? if i cant then oh well i guess i gotta pay but 12.50 for a bolt is a bit steep if you ask me... thanks..

Replace those with better hardware. I had the same bolts strip and replaced them with factory hardware.

Here (http://www.yamahaoftroy.com/fiche_select.asp)

I wish I would have gotten a harder grade fine thread. Only thing is you would have to cut the weld off the nut and reweld a new fine thread nut on those plates.

Your chain would have stretched reguardless if you changed your sprockets or not. It is a good practice to change the chain and sprockets together, but you dont have to. Just be sure to check them for hooking on occasion. It would be a shame to break a tooth off and damage that new chain in the process.

yeah most of my friends are either street bike guys or mx racers and they said my sprockets look great thats why i didnt get a new set of sprockets but the guy at the shop said mine were about worn out...

Check out motosport.com as well - they stock those bolts under the OEM parts section.

If you know the bolt size and threading you might want to try McFaddendales industrial hardware, if one is in your area. I heard there is one in texas but not sure where. Otherwise searchonline for for it. Just make sure the bolt you replace it with is just as strong or stronger than stock bolt. Also, I just found oem at www.bikebandit.com

part #s 2514940-001 & 2913706-001

They are very good to order from, and have good prices.

Alba action.com has oem parts. I just bought a Jannssen swingarm for my Z after many problems with swinger but I race and ride alot.
