I also have a MSR AOF Clutch Perch. It paid $26.99. I got it at:
http://www.rockymountainatv.com/productDetail.do?prodFamilyId=11631&navTitle=Control&webCatId=12&pageLinkUri=&vehicleType=&webTypeId=189&navType=type

Be certain to connect the clutch switch wires together or it won't start in gear even if you have the clutch pulled in.

I cut the both wire an inch from the clutch connetors and spliced the 2 wires together. Ensure you wrap the spliced wires well with electrical tape. Once I taped up the clutch wires I taped them to the wire harness that runs out to the starter button/kill switch/ head light switch assembly. If taped well enough it blends right into the wire harness and isn't even noticable.

The clutch perch swap out is fairly easy. Let me know if you need any other tips or advice.

I Tried putting on the RTC clutch perch on this weekend. How do I know if I got the clutch adjusted proply. I put the 400 in 1st gear and pulled the clutch in but it seems like it is not fully disengaging. The bike will roll but it is not rolling like when it is in neutral. I have adjusted the clutch down by the motor so that it is as far as it will go toward the front of the bike. thanks for any help

Have you adjusted the cable up at the clutch perch?

Hey guys

If you look on Ebay you can find the whole set of AVS clutch perch brake and brake clamp. called holiday pro pack i bet you can pick them up for $110 of $120 bucks maybe even cheaper. I have them and love em. Heres a Pic. Oh they come in Black Red and Blue.

kind of adding to what SandNut777 said. You can also by asv levers that have been referbished.. They start at like a $.01 sometimes. The only thing is they say that they may have a scratch or somthing on them. But if you have a race bike your going get scratches on them anyways. :D Thats what I am going to buy...

Personally I'd go with the ASVs. When I'd break levers I would have to wait a while to get a new one and couldn't ride. Finally just got ASVs, a year later still shiny and work perfectly.

Actually I adjusted it so far out at the perch that the adjustment nut broke off. I put one of the stock ones on it. I am going to go buy a new cable, but I don't think the cable is stretched because it was working fine before I switched perches.

I paid full price for my ASV clutch, then I found out you can get ASV on ebay for half off. These are buy it now, always half off. When a lever is broken, you send it back to ASV and they send you a new one, these are the ones that got broke, they replace the faulty or broke peice and sell it at half price. I got my brake lever for 30$

I just recently bought this same one and so far really like it. I'm not racing so I don't plan on rolling. :eek2:
