You might just be simply out of adjustment. Try adjusting it by the perch. If that doesn't help give me a call on Monday, and I will explain how to do it over the phone. It shouldn't be slipping.. What type of oil are you running?

I don't sell it, but I run Amsoil in everything I own. I would try that stuff... I'm sure its the oil your using if its already slipping and you didn't abuse it by hill climbing or drag racing, or by letting unexperienced riders hop on your yfz riding the clutch to take off...

in colder conditions use a lighter oil. Mine wont even start if i have the thicker stuff in my bike.

when im hamering on it going threw the gears it revs like its in nuetral and then kicks in and starts getting power to the ground and in the woods i kinda of have to feather the clutch in tight spots and i pop the clutch to do wheelies

the 06 yfz are known to have weak fider plates in them. i would take them out and see if they are in spec.
