Hey I know you can use your debit card on paypal, but is it as simple as it seems? I Just put in my number and are the funds instantly put in my Paypal acct? Right now I have it routed to my Checking account and it take 3-4 days for the money to show up in my Account. Are there any fees when using a Debit card?

If you are going to a debit card i'd have a seperate account for such transactions. Just for some added security:)

I have one set-up on my account...have for several years with no problems.

The fees paypal charges are there for a reason. Their a buisness...they are in it to make money.

I've been able to use paypal to my advantage when I've been cheated on some parts and was able to get my money back no problem...the resolution center that is.

If I'm not mistaken companies like Western Union can chrage a nsaty fee depending on how much money you are trying to transfer.

I think it is so much more convient to use paypal rather than sending out a money order or such. You know it's paid for and it arrives to the other person faster. I like having the reciepts sent to my email and then being able to view all activity on your account just by logging into paypal.
