I need to know roughly what you guys torque your engine heads to? Its a polaris trailblazer 400 and i dont have a book with it...so if you guys could give me some ideas on what you do with your 400cc or close to the size engine?

I'd say 65-80ft/lb range. Make sure they're even!

Guessing the proper cylinder head torque is dumb. Period. Buy a manual, then you can put it back together properly. Cylinder head torque is one of the most critical specs, not something you just "rough guess."

Ignore what sly400 told you unless you like the idea of the studs being pulled out of the case. Call a dealer & get the spec. On a Suzuki with 10mm studs on a dragbike it's only 45 lbs. Ray.

I think its 50 pounds... I used to have a scrambler and I replaced head gaskets weekly... lol ( It wasn't stock )

I would call your a Polaris dealer to be sure though
