The 460 seems a bit big for a first overbore i would go with a 416 or 426. After that you can start to lose reliablity not to mention a 460 would be a b1tch on head gaskets. If you really want a big over bore i would stop at a 440 then when that went i may go to a 460 or CS465
just my .02

i would just get a 416-426 instead. nice and reliable (depending on builder) and think about the cost of fuel for a 460 im sure you will have to run straight race gas

no i don't think you would due to the fact that you can control 4 stroke compressions better than you can a 2 stroke although you may. It would deffinetaly be a good thing to do if so.
Really a good rule of thumb is 10:5.1 is 93 and 11:1 is half n half anything higher is pure race gas.

Joel400ex is asking about a stroker kit, not a bore kit as every reply so far has implied.

Joel--A well built 460 stroker will be fast. If you build it, you'll be happy with the power.:macho
