400ex suspension

alright i got a question, i got a 400ex that im going to race flat track with, well instead of just making a lowering kit for it i was just going to buy a set of 250ex shocks they are right around 11 1/2 from eye to eye and my stock shocks are about 16 eye to eye do you think that the 250 shocks will make it to low and make my a-arm lean to far up????

i think 300ex shocks are to small and will stress the ball joints to much and may brake them

Yeah I think you are right cause the compressed length will be even shorter.

I have some ohlins I can make around 16, 15 0r 14

I need to rebuild them any way $75?
