alright, like 3 or 4 days ago my computer started giving me errors with quicktime, so i cannot watch or listen to mpeg files on the internet, and my photoprogram requires Quicktime 5 or more to run it. so i tried installing quicktime again for a new one, but hwen i downloaded the install file, it says i have a later version (how, i do not know) so i totally removed every quicktime file in my computer and tried again, same thing happens still. any computer genious's know what could be the problem?

DId you remove it through the add/remove programs?

tried to in the first place but it told me that there was no uninstall file or log, whatever they are

Maybe try installing it in a different directory then. What OS are you running?

you need to clear the entries in the registry.. once installed, its like trying to backdate direct X..
