Anyone who has Elkas on a Rath Dual A-arm setup, can you answer me a question PLEASE. Did you have any problems mounting the Elkas? I am trying to install them now and they wont fit. The top cap of the shocks hits the upper shock mount on the bottom when pivioting them into position.
I can install the top bolt with the shock no problem but cant install the bottom bolt. and vice versa. Th shocks were bought with the kit from Rath. any isight wounld be very much appreciated.

I can't speak for the Rath arms but I ran into the same thing with our K-fab arms. The shocks sit at a more "straight up" position and grinding some off the upper shock mount was required to get the clearance.

Thats what it looks like to me, I just hate to grind the frame after the powdercoating. How much clearance did you leave?

Luckily I test fitted my stuff before I had it powdercoated or I would have been ticked :p Just enough clearance for the shock to fit is all you need.I think I had to grind maybe 1/8" at most off mine.

I hate to disturb the pc but next year it will most likey be a different color. Looks good so far I think. I'm dry fitting everything now.

Monkey Boy, That looks awesome. It will give your boy a whole lot more confidence with that suspension. Will you be done by mar 4 at mototown? I would love to see it.

I'm not sure we'll be done by the 4th, I was kinda waiting till I talk to Robb. He's doing the engine work in March and I'm not quite sure yet when he wants it up there. If he wants it later we might make it there.
