gearing

i know u guys probably gets this ?S a million times but i ahve to ask. my buddy in iraq is looking to gear his 88 tecate 4 for freestlye/mx. he wants to run 18in tires in the rear and 19 in the front. hes ported polished and lightned flywheel.

what would you guys recomend??

Most guys run 18 rears and I think 20's up front

I'd say throw a 13 tooth in front and like a 36 in back. For good bottom out of turns and more than enough top end you wouldn't use in mx.

thanks man. ya as soon as i got back from afghanistan my best friend got shipped out to iraq. hes doing fin and comming home in like 3 mo. on leave. i am hoping to have his wheeler all ready for hime to ride. he traded his 05 blown up blaster for this powervalve tecate project. not a bad deal. hes never even rode one with a powervalve so hes excited i just wnat to have it as bad *** as i can b4 he gets back
