gun? Building a Ruger 10/22 for target/competition shooting and was wondering if you could powdercoat the receiver and trigger guard? Thanks.

the trigger gaurd on newer 10/22's is plastic, so the answer would be no
yes on the reciever and barrel (ive seen some trick paint jobs on match guns!)

Mine's a few years old. The trigger guard is some sort of aluminum I believe. It's had enough use that the black is wearing off and you can see bare metal underneath. How much would a job like this cost? Thinking of a blue or maybe silver color.

is it a stainless bull barrel and a stanless reciever or all standard ruger base model 10/22?
