for all that has a big bore, what sprocket sizes are you runnin in front and back. was thinkin about gettin a 14t up front but what should i get in the rear. 1 more tooth in rthe front adds how many links to the chain. i need a new chain and stock gearing uses a 92 link right. how many more links for the 14t do i need

I used 14/38 on 18" tires, it easily pulled them. I now use 14/36 on 310pv top end, it pulls them with little problem. I use 14/39 on woods bikes(stock cylinder). It depends where you want the power, you can pull 15/36 on a stock cylinder, but it will take some time to get to speed, 14/38 or 14/36 is a good compromise of top end verses acceleration. 14/38 or 14/36 would be good for you, any bigger, the power doesn't "roll on" so smooth. I rode 2 bikes with 15/38 on stock cylinders, it was hard to ride, unless you were only riding where top speed matters.

I currently use a 13/38 combo on a 92 link chain on my 350 for the dunes. I just recently switched from a 14T and would pull wheelies on this till 4th gear but cant keep the motor in the powerband past this for 5th gear. But then again, my motor is currently mx ported ......:( but will be reported soon:D

I'm doing mx, sand puts alot more stress on your motor. I have ridden my bikes in the sand and its very easy to see how yo can't pull high gearing.

what size tire do you run the most? what roll out are they? the size tire and its rollout will drastically affect the gearing that your engine runs the best in sand, regardless of its size.

on my 310 with a nice mx port and 18's out back i run a 13/37 or depending on track size, throw on a 14 front...whatever i throw at it, it pulls it.
