After A Awesome day Of Riding The R I Noticed That Right By Where The Hole Is For The Kickstarter It Is Leaking Some Oil , Is There A Seal Or Something There That Needs To Be Replaced? Thanks

take off your tranny cover and uhhh damn it's been a while since i did this but yeah i belive there is a seal my seal is stock from 85 and it's still good but shouldn't be too much money under 5 dollers i would think easy procedure

There is no need in taking off the cover as the seal goes in from the outside. Take off the kicker and gently pry out the seal with a small pick or screwdriver, wipe out the hole with a rag, grease the new seal, use a deep well socket that fits the outside edge of the new seal but deep enough to go all the way over the kicker shaft and gently tap it in the whole keeping it square with the hole. shouldn't take longer than ten to twenty minutes.
