im planning to weld in gussets into my 250r frame.
but i'm wondering what kind of welder to use.

i guess TIG would be best but it puts out so much heat im kinda scared of my frame bending because of heat transfer.

i could also use MIG but that wont be as nice and strong as TIG.

anybody who has some input on this?

using a mig welder on mild steel is more then adequate

oke

but would TIG be possible?
since its easier for me to get it TIG welded since i dont need to change the machine.
if i want to get it MIG welded i need to change the wire and all the stuff since it has stainles steel wire in it?

my plan was to get it TIG welded i'm just concerned about the heat bending my frame

TIG actually produces a colder weld then mig, tig is fine and is prefered by most if it is an option
