the install is pretty simple the hardest part is taken the clutch basket/pressure plate off..... torque wrench, standard tools, service manual, should go a long way in helping in the install.

hey sponge looks like eveything is there, u can also add a new clutch basket locking tab, some people change em and some dont, its required by honda to change to do a proper install.

other issues have been solved imo with the kicker install as in decomp setting as it seems the stock er decomp setting is fine as ur foot can kick over faster than ur e-start the balance seems fine. i havent heard of a ideal psi as of yet..

the other issue being the kicker interfereing or engaging the starter clutch or assembly hasnt been cleared up 100% but some sources say it will not engage or effect the starter clutch/mechanism at all the same goes for bump starting, but one source has admitted to seeing problems of the e-start second hand from doing the dual start setup.. so i hope someone can clear that up as it seem the starter clutch never engages if u were to kick it over or bump start it?

no you don't have to swap cases. all you have to do is pop out that little back thing where the kick goes.

My starter clutch just crapped out so I'm going to do this conversion while getting it fixed.

good idea. in the cold my er doesn't like to start but one kick and it fires up.

if you add the kickstart to the er can you do away with the battery and all the other electric start parts. is there a plug for where the starter goes in.
