I'm currently running a full LRD exhaust on my 440ex. Which do you all think is best the Sparks or LRD? Thanks

I've never ran a LRD before, but I do have a Sparks, I believe LRD is a bottom end pipe? Sparks is a mid to top, you will notice a small inrease in bottom though. I don't think it would really matter which pipe you get, if you're looking to change exhausts than go for it, the power might be the same, might be more power, or it might even be less.

sparks might cost a bit more

The LRD we've used on the 450Rs are junk. I've also heard this from a few YFZ guys as well. They fall apart and the color wears off of the label after about an hour of riding the damn thing.

I would get the sparks pipe. I just had to buy a new one because the core of the pipe rusted out, but I got at least 13 years out of the old one. The only reason I had to get a new one was that sparks did not make a replacement core because the pipe was so old.

The only problem I've had out of the LRD so far on my bike, is the ceramic coating started coming off after about 2-3 hours of riding. I was just wondering which do you all think is best. Which puts the most power out all the way through the powerband? Thanks

I switched to LRD this past season after trying several pipes on my Raptor. The LRD has been the best in terms of performance.

However, I noticed some rust forming near where the two head pipes go into one on the Ballistec coating, which is supposed to prevent rust and corrosion. And the label on the can did start to flake (probably because it got blasted accidentally by the power washer).

LRD is currently replacing my ENTIRE exhaust system FREE of charge. It was explained to me that each ballistec coating is inspected, but occasionally a pipe will not get a complete application. So LRD told me to ship my entire pipe and I'm waiting on my new system.

Good customer service if you ask me for a pipe that performed great.
