Pappy can you do anything with this

I have no idea why this weld is here but I need it fixed and a couple other spots. Can it be fixed and the bearing taken out before coating.

Looks like it huh.....I know I can't weld very well but I can do better than that

well, if pappy can't do it, i send it with the pa in law to work...he is a welder by trade ya know...

has been since the monday after thanksgiving...he is still sore though...that deer did a number on him...
