XC wheel/tire setups

ITP HD's on Douglas .190's.


Very happy with them.

(I don't really care how the rear HD's look, but they perfrom great)

I have 21" GNCC rears and 22" GNCC fronts right now and I like them alot. Before I had HD rears and like just as much. Both are on HiPers with tireballs:macho

Hipers on all corners with HD's on the rear and Razr2's up front. Hopefully I will have tireballs shortly.

Last year 20"Kenda claws rears and 21" fronts w/ stock wheels This year 20" Razors rear and 21" Razor 2 fronts w/hipers.

Maxxis tires are taller than kenda.

I will be on Kenda Klaw front and Knarly 21" rear or the Kenda radials, depending on conditions , but also mounted on Hipers all the way around.

Stock wheels, custom aluminum re-inforcing rings welded on. Razr's on all four, 21fr 20r (If I'd had the cash, Razr 2's up front).

How do they wear? Wear fast or slowly? I'm thinking of getting some.

I run stock wheels, razr 1 rears and Kenda MXR fronts. They work great!

currently run Razr2 fronts on ITP GP wheels with Razr1 Rears on OMF Beadlocks

Currently running Razr2 fronts and Kenda Knarly HT's on the rear. Razr2's are AWSOME. Knarly HT's have good forward traction, but almost NO side bite. Also have a set of Knarly XC's I'm gonna run after the HT's wear out. ;)
