should i cut the green and yellow wires?

im removing the ebrake system off the 400ex. there are 2 wires that go into the stock lever. what are they for? and what do i do with them once i put the new lever on?

Wire them together. If you don't you'll have to put the transmission in neutral to start. The drawback is the quad will start in gear without the clutch lever pulled in.
