416 kit?? worth it/opinions

Well i heard from a friend ,that has a 400ex like me, that the 416ex is worth it and has plenty of power for the dunes....that is mainly what i do is dunes ,small track and forest riding. I have wanted more power out of my ex for a while and was wondering what you guys think. Also how would i go about having someone do this for me, because im not very mechanically inclined yet.

I've riden several 416ex's and the kit is def. worth the money. It wakes up the bike! If I ever get another EX first comes suspension and then I would spend the rest of my left over funds in the motor.

thats exactly what he told me...and to me it sounds so GOOD and i think its exactly what it needs. who does that kind of stuff and are there different kinds out there??

Your Honda shop could do it for you, or any local mechanic shops. I suggest picking up a Clymer manuel and doing it yourself, it's extremely easy, do it once and you'll never forget. I suggest a JE 10.8:1 piston and a hotcam stage 1 (for bottom end), make sure you get gaskets too.

my buddys building it now stage 2 cam 450r carb and a 450r exhaust can with hrc end cap heard this should be a runner

that sounds awesome! do i need all that stuff for a 416 kit? like carb and all that.

why the 450R exhaust? Waste of time and effort right there.

im on ebay looking and there is a bunch of Chit to choose from! which one?

450r exhust with the hrc is a good cheap improvment, lighter more flow the stock header pipe on the 400 s are good enough 450r carb is said to give about a 6hp gain like putting an fcr carb on it half price,
