Disc Brake on 400ex

Hey everyone.. been a while since i've been on but i just got home and looked at my 400ex sittin in the garage and my disc brake was rusted up ?! It looks horrible! lol i asked my dad and he said it wont affect anything just look bad but is there any way i could sand the rust off or should i leave it or should i just got another?? and i do replace is it hard to get off and then put another on? thanks a bunch!

Take it for a ride and use the back brakes. It will rub all the rust off. Unless there is scaling(sp?) rust and divots in the rotor.

Ya you have nothing to worry about. Next time you take it out, the rotor will look like new again. It's just light surface rust because the rotor is bare metal.
