I got a deal on +3 Lonestar Race series a-arms and i was wondering if i am using stock off set front rims about how wide will it be? Will the +3 be too wide to race with? There is also some +2's there as well should i just go with the +2 instead of the +3? I wanna take my front end i got now and put it on our other bike and get a wider one for mine.

the stock offset is 4-1 which is as narrow as front wheels get so you will be fine with +3's. you will be right around 50 inches wide.

Stock front wheel offsets are 3+2 not 4+1.

I'd go with the +3's and get 4 / 1 offset rims to go with your stock 3 / 2 offsets - the 4 / 1's will make you 2" narrower. WHich wheels you run depends on race conditions.

Whether you are too wide depends on the width of the course you are racing.

at our mx tracks i was told that they have something you have to ride through and it is set at 50" so i wanna be around 50 inches. +3 and 4-1 will be 50" and 3-2 would be 52" right?

the off set is where the mounting is in location to the center of the rim. think of it this way, 2.5 +2.5 would be exaclty center
3+2 has themounting point of the wheel being 3 inches from the inside edge and 2 inches from the outiside edge...that puts the hub at 2 inches from the outer edge a 4+1 has the hub an inch from the outer edge
