For some reason I am building a 300ex from the ground up. Im buying parts here on the forums and on Ebay also. Ill try and keep it updated as I go. Here are some pics of the progress so far. The first one is after we sandblasted it at the powdercoaters.

With a few things on it

And a few more parts installed

I drilled out the bushings in the a-arms and installed a pair of sealed bearings with flanges to replace the spherical bearings in each of the a-arms. The frame is a 250x frame so I'll have to add a few brackets where needed. Hope you guys (and girls) enjoy

Thats coming later. Im sure if I saved my money I could buy them but then it wouldnt get done as fast. Im contemplating building my own arms in the future. Have some lines on some chromoly tubing. But thats later down the road. (Im gonna get flamed for wanting to build my own)

Looking very clean. Custom A-arms are great if you know what you're doing.

I know you just PC'd the thing but did you guesset the frame?

No gussets. Im 40 years old and cannot do jumps, its just a ride around and muddin toy. Maybe a few small jumps but I am no good at jumping. A buddy thats helping me keeps calling me Sally. I think he may be right. :D
