has anybody ever heard of this or had it? i was told by my coach that its basically a torn joint in your foot but man does it hurt and feel like a break. i came up a little short jumping over some mats at the gym and kind of stubbed it back in november and ever since it hasnt been right, i cant kick any ball or bend it very far and today i stubbed it again and its twice the size of the other one. does anybody have any suggestions on what to do about it? ive heard to tape it when your being active but it seems like a big pain just to go run or something

ya, they call it turf toe because its common for football players that play on turf to get it... pretty much, their foot sticks in the turf while theyre moving and it hurts a ligament.

im no doctor, but my trainer (i play college football) just tells us to ice it, and rest it in the beginning. as it gets better, try and stretch it. but, always ice it. Goodluck man.
