I dont think you can use a different lever.. the one that comes with the magura is nice.. i too was thinking about swapping levers on my Hclutch.. you need to find one that works with a Hclutch system since its not pulling a cable its pushing a pin..

if your using the maguire one then asv makes a special handle for them. you can get them on ebay for like $30 (refurb)

thanks guys.. im thinking about getting one becuase my friend has one and when i rode his bike i was like wow... this is great. Thing is, is that, is it reliable? I mean like now u have a resivor and all this other stuff and before you had a cable. Is it reliable? Has anyone ever had any problems with this?

It is very reliable provided you have it setup properly (slave cylinder rod is not binding/rubbing etc).

I have heard of people having slave cylinders leak but it was because of misalignment issues.

I have been running mine now for 2 years and its done nothing but good for me, one of my favorite mods.

I run a ASV C-5 series front brake lever, but have the original Magura lever on it still. I can tell you from experience that the lever holds up well if you ever flip your quad. Mine has been completely unharmed in a couple tricky incidents I had, I was very impressed by it. I really have no desire to change the lever to an ASV, I like the slender feel of the Magura lever.

You can also get a shorty lever replacement direct from Magura if you don't want to spend extra for the ASV.
